Young people nowadays want to exchange strong suits with the help of internet as such exchanges are bilaterally beneficial. This will be improving their sociability and money-saving. Consequently, this becomes a trendy way for the young to learn new skills and to associate with each other.

Finding Dazi on campus websites

Liu Yan, for example, is a postgraduate at school. After self-learning of playing the guitar for some while, she found herself making slow progress. Then, she posted her need on the campus wesite looking for a Dazi (partners who share the same need but have a casual friendship). With the help from other students, Liu finally joined the school music group and find a guitar teacher, who is a undergraduate in her school.

“I was about to pay at first. Then, I heard that he was preparing worriedly about his College English Test Band 4. I majored in English, so I taught him English in return,” said Liu. “Then, we both learned something from each other for free.”

As they are both college students that should spend much time taking courses. The skill-exchange time was not fixed. They just make appointments whenever it is free for both. After learning from each other from time to time in half a semester, Liu can now play some songs.
Skill-exchange in the same city

“I’m good at baking stuffy and photography. And I think we can play billiards, fishing and motor cycling. I want to learn English and video editing.”

“What I can do is showed in picture one. And from the second to the forth, you can see my achievements. If you want to learn that, you may contact me.”

Those above are posts with the key word of “skill exchanging” seen on many social media platforms. Many young people do this to find the right Dazi to establish a mutual-learning and helping relationship.

To make it more convenient to find an appropriate Dazi, many people will noted their posts with locations as well, hoping to find Dazi who can teach them skills both online and offline.

Better exchanges between close friends

Luo and Song have been friends since childhood to postgraduate time. They are not only Dazi of casual friendship. Song once worked in a beauty salon where she learned much enough to teach Luo about manicure like nail caring and professional tool using.

“She often teaches me skills learned in the beauty salon when we hang out. And I will teach her stuff about photography.” Luo said that she learned about photography at school so she could “pay Song back”.

Such mutual learning between Luo and Song has lasted for about three years. “I have a sense of achievement actually,” said Luo. “As for Song, she once knew nothing about photography and dared not to give it a try, but now she can now take great photos. The credit goes to me!”
