Yunnan's first New Year web series Dehe Rice Noodles debuts

Dehe Rice Noodles, Yunnan's first New Year web series, will be available on platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, WeChat Channels, and Xiaohongshu in January 2024.

The 10-episode series depicts how a group of young people live and work in Yunnan, presenting the distinctive Yunnan rice noodle culture from a Yunnanese perspective to promote the beauty of Yunnan.

"You'll see how the youngsters use rice noodles to express their emotions and pursue their dreams. Rice noodles aren't just food; they represent a culture," said the director, He Yufei. She hoped the series would enlighten more viewers about the cultural richness and stories behind Yunnan's rice noodles.

Co-produced by Yunnan Television and Kunming Dehe Canned Food Factory, Dehe Rice Noodles adopts a more innovative production method as episodes are scripted, shot, and edited based on the audience's timely feedback, offering a fresh and engaging viewing experience for the audiences.
