Yunnan pilot FTZ steps up service to businesses

The Kunming area of the China (Yunnan) pilot free trade zone (FTZ) has recently shifted its focus to serving cross-border business activities of local pharmaceutical firms in terms of research & development, talents introduction, e-commerce and investment, said a news release on June 2.

In a bid to help traditional Chinese medical businesses survive the supply chains strained by Covid-19 outbreaks and volatile international conflicts, the Kunming area has upgraded its aid to Yunnan Baiyao and Kunming Sinoway in particular.

It also joined hands with the Kunming power supply bureau in rolling out new service items, and by the end of May, over 1.4 million businesses owners and individuals had accessed power-related services online without even a single stop at the Kunming area.
