Lukasz Madrzynski (Meng Jushi), a biodiversity enthusiast from Poland, holds master and PhD degrees at UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development. After moving to northwest Yunnan’s Lijiang city, he has become an expert consultant at Lijiang Conservation and Development Association. Besides, he is the co-founder and general manager of Wild Mountain Education Consulting Ltd.

Lukasz has lived in China for 15 years. The first time he visited Lijiang, he was fascinated by the environment because Lijiang is rich in biodiversity of fauna and flora. He has decided to be engaged in Yunnan ecotourism research since then.

At present, he has established an environmental education base in the nature reserve of the Laojun Mountain, where he provides free courses for rural children.

He hopes the environmental courses can increase children's awareness in sustainable development and carry out low-carbon lifestyles.
