2022CITM: Dr. Pan's smart tour in Lijiang

For Dr. Pan from Thailand, who has lived in Yunnan for more than 10 years, the Old Town of Lijiang is a place where she never gets tired of repeated visits. The other day, she came to the the old town again. What impressed her most this time, however, was the AI technology that has been fully fused into this 800-year-old ancient town.

Visitors no longer have to worry about finding hotels, restaurants or toilets when traveling in the town, thanks to local smart-tourism practices. With the Go-Yunnan app, the Lijiang tour is easier and worry-free. Dr. Pan plans to bring her Thai relatives and friends to the old town for smart services when the Covid is over.
