A near-threatened plant of ghost plant, or Monotropa uniflora, was recently found in central Yunnan’s Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture.

This perennial saprophytic plant mostly grows in the cool and humid areas from 800 meters to 3,200 meters above sea level, especially in dark jungles with good ecological environment.
