Yunnan heritages highlight CIFTIS

The intangible cultural heritages from central Yunnan’s Shilin Yi autonomous county have made a hit at the just-concluded 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing.

Shilin, or Stone Forest, has won the titles of "World Geopark" and "World Natural Heritage", and it is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. During this year's CIFTIS, Shilin was invited by UNESCO to showcase its Yi embroidery and other heritages.

Over the years, Shilin has joined hands with the UNESCO in carrying out programs on sustainable livelihood for local communities.
