7-Eleven branches hit Yuxi market

Two 7-Eleven convenience stores opened in central Yunnan’s Yuxi city on September 24, marking the American chain’s presence outside Kunming since it hit the provincial market in 2021.

As part of a world's top 500 brand, the branch stores sell lunch boxes, drinks, snacks, and groceries, and they also rolled out fridge magnets and other cultural products that incorporate the 7-Eleven elements into the Yuxi landmarks, such as Hill Hongta and Lake Fuxian.

7-Eleven began offering its franchise to Yunnan businesses in August, and the Yuxi branches will help the chain to tap the provincial market, preparing for its presence in more Yunnan localities.
