Yunnan GDP up by 3.8% in first three quarters
Yunnan's GDP grew by 3.8 percent year on year to 2.08 trillion yuan ($288.3 billion) in the first three quarters this year, the provincial bureau of statistics said on October 27.

In the first three quarters, the total output of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Yunnan province reached 387.375 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.6 percent.
The value-added industrial output of enterprises above the designated size in Yunnan grew by 8.3 percent year on year, 0.1 percent lower than that from January to August.

Provincial fixed-asset investment in the three quarters rose by 8.0 percent year on year, 0.2 percent higher than that in the past eight months.
Retail sales in the same period, a key measurement of consumer spending, increased by 1.5 percent year on year to 794.82 billion yuan.
