Go Deep in Lijiang: Danxia landform seen at Mt. Laojun

Laojun Mountain Scenic Spot stands as the main attraction of the region of Three Parallel Rivers in northwest Yunnan province.

Besides the overlapping and rolling Danxia landform, other attractions can be seen there: strange peaks and rocks, clean lakes and streams, flourishing forests and flowers, high-altitude meadows, and frozen peaks and marvelous gorges.

Among the stunning views, Danxia landform is unique. In the milky mist and emerald forests, the Danxia landform looks like thousands of little tortoises that form into a giant one if seen afar.
