Go deep in Lijiang: Leisure time in Baisha

Baisha ancient town of Lijiang city is one of the localities where Naxi folks gathered in their earliest years. Today, it has become a place to enjoy the tranquility if tourists want to escape from the crowd.

Located at the foot of the Yulong Snow Mountain, the buildings in Baisha still keep the ancient style of Naxi traditional residence. The stone paths, after many years, were smooth and shiny. There are tile cats placed on the roofs guarding the small Naxi houses day and night.

The small shops beside the streets are unique. The owners created them in interesting ways. Therefore, the shops are of various characteristics.

Before the sunset, tourists may enjoy the views of the snow mountain in the north. When the night falls, the town will become tranquil. The pace of life here is slower than you thought. Just enjoy your time in Baisha!
