Go Deep in Lijiang: Haixi, a beautiful village beside Mt. Yulong

Located in Tai’an township, northwest Yunnan’s Yulong county, Haixi is a small village that many tourists will pass through when they head for the mysterious Shangri-La and Tibet.

From late autumn to the early spring, some travelers will find that the right side of Yulong Snow Mountain is of another kind of beauty. Northeast of Haixi village, the outline of Yulong Snow Mountain is more stereoscopic. The hills and peaks look steeper from this angle. With the white snow covering the peaks that shine bright under the sun, it is of great charm.
