Go Deep in Lijiang: City has photo show for 25th anni. of World Heritage

The themed photo exhibition of the 25th anniversary of the Old Town of Lijiang's application for World Heritage was recently held in five areas of the town.

December 4 is Lijiang’s World Heritage Day every year. Earlier this year, the Old Town of Lijiang scenic spot has recruited and collected the historical photos from the public. After being selected, old photos have been displayed in five areas of the Old Town by sections and themes.

On December 4, 1997, the Old town of Lijiang was inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Since then, the international popularity and reputation of the Old Town of Lijiang have been greatly improved over the past 25 years.

A total of 194 works were displayed at the exhibition. The photographers used their works to demonstrate the all-round charm of Lijiang.
