Chinese documentaries displayed in Yangon

With the Mid-Autumn Festival around the corner, the China Cultural Center in Yangon exhibited three Chinese documentaries on September 4 at the Bowen school in the Myanmar port city.

The cultural event aims to increase the traditional Paukphaw friendship between China and Myanmar. Around 400 pupils and teachers watched Puppet Show, Sanxingdui: Rediscovering a Lost Civilization, and The Cinema Travelers.

“Over the sea grows the moon bright; We gaze on it far, far apart.” I do hope the event could make you guys better understand China and fall in love with Chinese culture, said Xu Ling, director of China Cultural Center Yangon, citing an ancient Chinese poem.
