5th jacaranda festival unveiled in Kunming

The 5th Kunming Jacaranda Cultural Arts Festival was unveiled in Kunming, Yunnan’s capital city, on April 28.

Thousands of citizens and tourists were lured to northern Kunming’s Middle Jiaochang Road and Lianhuachi Road to appreciate the annual jacaranda burst of lilac, and embrace the coming summer.

During the festival, tourists can visit an art market, enjoy food and live music, as well as participating in online poetry and photography contests. This festival will last until mid-June.

An art market is opened to the public during the festival.
