Beauty of Yunnan shines in Bangkok

At the themed exhibition of “Yunnan: A many-splendored life” held in Bangkok, capital of Thailand on Nov. 28, Chinese and Thai guests tasted Pu'er tea, enjoyed Yunnan snacks, and experienced Yunnan ethnic culture, praising the lifestyle in Yunnan.
As an important part of the “One River, One Family” Sino-Thai Cultural Exchange and the “Yunnan: A Many-splendored Life” event, the themed exhibition displays Yunnan tea art, flowers, cultural and creative products, as well as photos.
"Where is the Water-Sprinkling Festival held?" "Is the dance filmed in Xishuangbanna?" , Entering the photo exhibition area, a Thai importer and his wife asked questions from time to time. They saw exquisite photos of Yunnan ethnic festivals, handmade embroidery, glaciers and snow-capped mountains, tropical rainforests, the China-Laos Railway and the China-South Asia Exposition (CSA Expo). The ecological, colorful life in Yunnan was fully exhibited showing the harmony of men and nature.
"We visited the Stone Forest in Yunnan five months ago, and the unique landscapes left a deep impression on us!" The couple told reporters that they are planning their next trip to Yunnan, preparing to take the China-Laos Railway train to Xishuangbanna and Kunming for a different tour.
"This tee’s good, Thai people will love it!" In front of the Pu'er tea display, the former mayor of Krabi City in Thailand, said after tasting the tea. He mentioned that he had known about the famous Yunnan Pu'er tea for a long time, and it's a special experience to to taste Pu'er tea in Bangkok.
A consultant to the Thai Ministry of Labor, has visited China many times for work and personal reasons, and Yunnan is an important destination for his tours in China. "Yunnan has many places worth visiting!" he introduced, mentioning his recent visit to Yunnan to experience hot spring therapy.
"This is Zhang Fei, and this is Guan Yu!" Walking into the cultural and creative display area, the president of the Thai Journalists Association, recognized the historical Chinese figures from the weapons in the shadow puppets.
He, who has a great understanding of Chinese culture, stated that Chinese and Thai cultures share many similarities, such as paper cutting and elephant-foot drumming in Thailand, which is a profound basis for enhancing friendship between the two countries.
