Nanping town's Nandaohe village has the longest history of coffee plantation and is one of the most widely coffee-planted areas in south Yunnan's Pu'er city. Tourists and merchants have come to buy fresh coffee beans ever since the harvest season in December.

The coffee produced here is more mellow for the elevation of 900-1500 meters, the complex graphic conditions such as river valleys and hillsides, abundant sunshine, rain and mist, and the big temperature difference between day and night.

In recent years, Pu’re city has upgraded its coffee growing bases, improve planting techniques and coffee quality, and standardized the coffee processing industry chain. At the same time, Pu’er city explored the integrated development of agriculture and tourism, promoting coffee-themed tourism projects.

Nandaohe village has enhanced the rural habitat with green areas, which has attracted more tourists and coffee lovers to sightseeing and brought new money to the surrounding villages.
