Hekou port serves 100,000 plus in first month

Since its full resumption of customs clearance on January 8, the Hekou dry port near the China-Vietnam boundary has seen 107,000 persons either enter or exit from Yunnan province, together with 182,300 tons of cross-border goods.

Over the first month, the daily persons flow at the Hekou border gate rose from over 600 to more than 5,000, and the officers quickened customs clearance by opening special passages for emergency use, BRI cooperation, green food and other produces.
