With a historic and cultural air, an ancient-style museum was set up in Daxiechang village, southwest Yunnan’s Lancang Lahu autonomous county.

The county is so named because it’s adjacent to the Lancang River, and the museum is built at a traditional stop on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, where the caravans would rest.

The museum exhibits all kinds of the antiques related to famed ancient trading route that extends from southwest China to south and southeast Asian countries. It also displays old stuff from the 1970s to 1980s, such as magazines, music records, Chinese new year paintings and marriage certificates. The museum hall covers 700 square meters, exhibiting more than 400 items.
