Go Deep in Lijiang: What's the real fun in Lijiang

Lijiang city in February is filled with spring wonder.

Lying at the foot of Yulong snow mountain, the ancient town looks carefree under the blue sky. Here, the flower fragrance floats shower by shower, and enjoyable days linger hour by hour.

You can enjoy scenery of the Yulong snow mountain. To enjoy romantic cherry blossoms, you can wander on the Shangri-la avenue. You can taste a bowl of Naxi rice jelly in the Sifang street. It’s sour and sweet. To feel the breeze at night, you can visit the Lashihai lake.

We’ll also stage something new in Lijiang!

The Lancang-Mekong Youth Challenge will kick off in Lijiang on Feb. 27.

In the challenge, young people and international communicators from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam will try something new, taste odd cuisines and find out something interesting, looking into the old towns, villages, boutiques, fairs and even mountains in Lijiang.

So what’s the challenge really like? What will they try? What will they taste? What will they figure out?
