Yunnan towns, villages mostly have stadiums

The sports cause of Yunnan province has made remarkable achievements in the past year. Now, almost all the towns and villages have stadiums. The sport area per capita has increased to 2.5 square meters. The number of social sports instructors has exceeded 120,000. And every 1,000 people have 2.5 instructors on average.

Moreover, the ratio of people who participate in exercise regularly has risen to 39.32%. The number of people who exercise more than 1 time a week has exceeded 22 million. And 92.6% of people can pass the national physical fitness test.

13 projects of sports tourism in Yunnan province were selected as the best sports tourism projects of China, and 4 projects were selected as the top 10 nationwide, ranking first in 2022.
