Coffee brewers to compete for prizes in Baoshan

From March 14 to 18, the 8th China Coffee Brewing Competition National Finals and the 1st Beaton Coffee Culture Festival will be held in Longyang district, Baoshan city, southwest Yunnan province. 28 top coffee brewers from all over China will compete for the top prize in the national finals.

This competition has been held many times, more than any other coffee competitions. It covers the largest area nationwide, with the largest number of competitors and judges rolled in. It is also of the highest class. Therefore, it is praised as "the benchmark of Chinese coffee competition" by domestic coffee industry.

In recent years, Baoshan city has been strongly promoting the development of coffee industry. In 2022, the city's coffee planting area reached 130,000 mu (about 86.7 square kilometers) with the production of 20,000 tons. And the agricultural output value was 931 million yuan, an increase of 72.97% year-on-year. What’s more, the comprehensive output value of the coffee industry reached 4.149 billion yuan, an increase of 11.11% year-on-year.
