Go Deep in Lijiang: Israeli festival kicks off in city
The Israeli SABABA Cultural Festival was launched in northwest Yunnan’s Lijiang city on the occasion of the 8th Yunnan-Israel Innovation Cooperation Forum, which was held simultaneously in Yunnan’s Lijiang and Isael’s Tel Aviv-Yafo on March 23.
In the festival, Israel's most famous landmarks have been "moved" to Lijiang, and many Israeli elements can be found in the tourist attractions: Snow Mountain Art Village and Land of Wilderness.
The word SABABA means "cool" or "awesome" in Hebrew and it represents a positive, energetic attitude for life.
The festival highlights many "SABABA" activities, such as Israel mahjong, live concert, innovative mind camps, movies, KRAV MAGA workshop, anime exhibitions, Israeli fairs, and more.
