The China-Laos Railway has three stations set in Pu’er city in the southwest of Yunnan province. Since the Kunming-Vientiane direct train service was launched for international passengers on Apr. 13, new opportunities have been brought to Pu’er development.

Running through the Pu’er stations of Mojiang, Ning’er and Pu’er, all localities with abundant tourism resource and folk customs, the international railway has boosted local tea and coffee industries.

At the Ning’er station, passengers can take a special bus to its local coffee houses to experience hand-brew coffee lessons by advanced baristas.

The first Thai tourists received warm welcome when taking train to Pu’er on Apr. 18. Here, they experienced leisure tour and original ecological tour of Pu’er’s charm and customs.
