"Welcome to Purer. China and Thailand are family!" At 10 o'clock on the evening of April 18, southwest Yunnan’s Pu'er city welcomed the first batch of inbound tourists from Thailand, who arrived in the city via China-Laos Railway.

Locals ushered in the Thai guests with the Lahu ethnic music. As soon as they got off the train, the Thai tourists received gifts, and felt the enthusiasm of local people and the charm of Pu'er culture.

"I am very excited to come to Pu'er, and the locals are very warm, which makes me feel at home. It is convenient and comfortable to travel to Yunnan by the China-Laos international passenger train, and I am looking forward to the tours in the next few days. "A Thai tourist in his 80s said happily.

The 40-member Thai tourist group will visit Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Pu'er, Xishuangbanna and other places for the beautiful scenery and unique customs in Yunnan.

With the opening of the China-Laos international passenger train, inbound tourist teams will come to Pu'er one after another, and the tourism market in Pu'er looks promising.
