Hekou port puts through 1 mil tons of cargo

The Hekou dry port in south Yunnan’s Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture has put through one million tons of cargo this year as of May 19, an increase of 107.3%. The number of trucks and trains passing through the port reached 72,900, up by 53.2%.

Located near the China-Vietnam border, Hekou is a major gate for bilateral trade, and in the face of thriving cross-border trade customs officers there have designated a green pass to quicken clearance services for cargoes.
