Located in the Laojun Mountain National Park, northwest Yunnan’s Lijiang, the 1,000-meterVia Ferrata project can meet the needs of different climbers. The devices allow weak climbers to climb on steep rock walls.

Literally meaning“iron way”in the Italian language, Via Ferrata refers to rockclimbing with the climber assisted by iron ropes and pedals. The ropeway also includes metal handrails, steps, andcables.

Compared with climbing without protective gear or indoor climbing, Via Ferrata ensures safety while enjoying the outdoor scenery, so that visitors can enjoy the fun brought by this sport to the maximum extent.
