In recent years, the Yunnan floral industry chain, encompassing cultivation, harvest, trade, and transportation, has been improved. From the flower fields to vases, each Yunnan flower embarks on a unique journey.

In the early morning, flowers are blooming in the Yuntianhua floral demonstration park, central Yunnan’s Jinning district, where 160 million fresh-cut flowers are produced annually. Farmers are busy picking and transporting flowers in modern greenhouses.

Freshly picked flowers are brought into the sorting and packaging workshop, where grading, packaging, and cold storage are carried out in an orderly manner every day. After processing, some of the flowers are shipped to customers via the park's logistics, while others are transported by to the Kunming International Flower Auction Center.

Inside the auction hall, real-time information about flower varieties, quantities, and grades is displayed on several screens. Over 5 million fresh flowers are auctioned daily here, reaching global destinations.

Yunnan province, known as the Kingdom of Plants, is one of the world's three major flower producers. In 2022, Yunnan put out 18 billion fresh-cut flowers.
