Thai specialties are on sale in Yunnan.

The trade volume between Yunnan and Thailand increased from 1.033 billion US dollars in 2018 to $2.352 billion in 2022, doubling in four years. In the first seven months this year, bilateral trade volume reached $1.249 billion.

The soaring Yunnan-Thailand trade is partly attributed to opening of the China-Laos Railway that facilitates cross-border logistics. Now Thai tropical fruits such as durian and mangosteen are finding their way to consumers in Yunnan and other Chinese provinces through the railway.
