11 Yunnan businesses attend Global Digital Trade Expo

Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce led 11 well-known Yunnan digital businesses to the just-concluded second Global Digital Trade Expo running from Nov. 23-27 in eastern China's Hangzhou city, in a bid to display provincial innovations in digital trade and have more business exchanges for common development.

Stressing openness, cooperation, innovation and development, the Yunnan exhibition area covered 200 square meters and it featured the three sections of cross-border e-commerce, smart port service and leading digital enterprises.

The e-commerce section was run by businesses from Kunming, Dali, Honghe and Dehong, while the smart-port section focused on digital empowerment in customs clearance. Among the participating Yunnan companies were Nantian Information, Yunfang Science Park, Yunpinhui and Yunnan Baiyao.

With the theme of "Digital Trade, Global Access," this year’s expo was jointly hosted by the provincial government of Zhejiang and the Ministry of Commerce. The expo is the only national professional exposition focusing on digital trade in China, with the second addition attended by more than 800 digital trade enterprises.
