South China's fishing village thrives through surfing

Riyue Bay, located in Wanning City, Hainan Province, is a popular destination for Chinese surfing enthusiasts. In recent years, the little fishing village of Tianxin, next to Riyue Bay, has benefited from the influx of surfers to become a thriving community.

The village has seen the rapid development and expansion of surfing clubs, homestays and restaurants, with locals bearing witness to the tremendous changes in Tianxin.
