City shares fruits with locals, tourists

The Sixth Fruit Sharing Event took place in Mangshi city, west Yunnan’s Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, on the evening of July 9.

Anyone who had volunteered to clean the public areas or done other deeds that contribute to community building could get a share of fruit free at the Mangshi Square, be it a local resident or a tourist.

The Mangshi streets are coupled with fruit trees on either side. During summer, the city is filled with delightful aroma of fruits, such as jack fruits, mangoes, longans, and other tropical fruits.
