Statistics suggest China has already established over 2,500 digital workshops and intelligent factories.
“China's level of intelligent factory construction is continuing to advance,” said Xin Guobin, the Vice Minister of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, at the Zhongguancun Forum on Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation and Development.
This development has significantly enhanced the iteration speed and delivery capabilities of discrete manufacturing products such as automobiles and home appliances. Moreover, it has greatly elevated the production safety and green development of process manufacturing, such as steel and petrochemical industries.
