2nd business Chinese program for Indians closes, A2 certificate granted
The 2nd Business Chinese Proficiency Promotion Program (A2) for the Indian Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) concluded on July 2, with the course-completion certificate granted to the program participants.
The 15-week language program is jointly organized by the Chinese Consulate General in Calcutta, the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office and Yunnan University.

“I would take the opportunity to pay my thanks and regards to our honorable teacher Mr. Dong Chengsai, who has taken all the trouble to make the journey as smooth as possible,” said Shibani Chowdhury, staffer at the Indian Navitus Controls & Equipment Private Limited, at the closing ceremony.
Sankalpita Aich, senior executive at the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said she has got to know the Chinese business cultures, habits and others, adding the training program increased the business and cultural exchanges between India and Yunnan province.

Since June 2022, Yunnan has jointed hands with the Chinese diplomatic missions and other friendly institutions in South Asia in organizing three business Chinese training courses.
A total of 38 participants from India and Bangladesh have completed their course. Among them, 33 obtained the A1 certificate for business Chinese, while 5 were granted the A2 certificate.
