As friendly neighbors and development partners, China and South Asian countries are a community with a shared future through thick and thin. In recent years, the two sides have deepened pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and maintained the sound momentum of economic and trade exchanges, with outcomes benefiting the people of China and all South Asian countries.
China is ready to work with South Asian countries to take the CSA Expo as a platform to build common grounds on pursuing common development in solidarity and coordination, to foster new growth drivers for cooperation, to promote the high-quality development of Belt and Road cooperation, so as to help implement the Global Development Initiative, and jointly embrace an even more prosperous and brighter future.
The first CSA Expo was held in 2013. Over the past decade, the expo has grown to be a comprehensive platform for multilateral diplomacy, economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and south-southeast Asia, and even between China and other countries in the world.
