Actors perform at the opening of the 7th China-South Asia Exposition (CSA Expo).

The 7th China-South Asia Exposition (CSA Expo) is attended by 89 Fortune 500 companies and 42 top Chinese businesses, as well as by over 30,000 exhibitors online and offline. They gather at the expo in Yunnan for their dreams and a shared future.

The CSA Expo is increasingly appealing to the international friends. Let’s listen to some voices from the expo participants old and new.

Anoop Bhattarai, chairman of Nepal-China Economic and Trade Association

Around 70 Nepalese businesses participated in this year's CSA Expo, and nearly 100 booths were set up. The products on display include carpets, wood carvings, cashmere scarves and thangka. They are favored by consumers in China.

In my opinion, the CSA Expo is a best platform full of business opportunities, so we’ve participated in expo sessions with numerous enterprises.

The CSA Expo will be a window for Nepalese businesses to look into the Chinese consumer market.

Wang Fei, chief brand officer of Laotian NewPay Technology Joint Venture

Following the CSA Expo last year, we opened a NewPay branch in Kunming, China.

Now more than one year has passed, and the number of NewPay users has exceeded 320,000, with the monthly payment averaging 17 million US dollars.

This year, we’re among the first ones to sign up for the CSA Expo. We hope to use this platform to access the wider international markets, while increasing the Laos-China cooperation in the digital industry.

Ni Xingyi, director of the southwest office of Hong Kong Sunwah Group

We’re a longstanding participant in the CSA Expo.

Our group has organized multiple visits for Hong Kong elites to attend the expo. Guests all recognize Yunnan's elevated role in China's opening-up.

As the CSA Expo continues to enhance its exhibition services with AI, it will invite in more international exhibitors, fostering diverse collaboration.

Wang Yangyang (Thai, Right), Kunming Xingshenglong Trading Company

Seven years ago, I attended the CSA Expo for the first time. Through this event, I see the recognition and affection of Chinese consumers, especially those in Yunnan, to Thai products.

We identified the right business partners at the expo that offered us opportunities to learn from famed international peers.

We hope the CSA Expo will bring us a larger market and more collaborative partners.

Zhou Yujie, deputy director of the Tea and Special Bio-industry Development Center, Simao district, Pu’er

I served as an assistant at the Confucius Classroom of Rayongwittayakom School (RYW) in 2013, when I chanced upon some Thai companies participating in the first CSA Expo. That was the first time I heard about the event.

It has been ten years from the 1st to the 7th CSA Expo. Alongside the surprises it brought, we've witnessed an increase in regional exchanges.

Over the years, the CSA Expo's brand value has risen steadily. And I hope this year's expo will bring us more surprises.
