Smart China Expo 2023 opened in SW China's Chongqing
The Smart China Expo 2023 was unveiled in southwest China's Chongqing municipality on September 4th.
With a theme of "pooling together wisdom and strength", this year's expo pays a specific attention of the fields such as intelligent driving, road-to-vehicle network connection, electric power steering and the development of relevant software.
Over 500 companies worldwide have be involved in the expo with their latest ideas and technologies on smart devices. A series of summits, exhibitions, forums as well as launching ceremonies are scheduled to take place during this 3-day event.
The exhibition site has been divided into two parts: Comprehensive exhibition area and Professional Exhibition Area. The former concentrates on showcasing the smart technologies developed by both domestic and foreign car-making enterprises, while the latter has been filled by companies specializing in the fields such as power battery, electric power steering, mart manufacturing and 5G technology.
A total of 84 key projects was signed on the first day of the expo, with a overall value of 213.86 billion yuan. These projects covers a wide range of fields, including road-to-vehicle network connection, bio-engineering, information services and new energy storage.
This year's expo is co-organized by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology, Cyberspace Administration, China Association for Science and Technology, Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as Chongqing Municipal People's Government.
The expo will be closed on September 6th.
