Chinese market shows great attraction at 2023 CIFTIS

Themed "Opening-up leads development, cooperation delivers the future," the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is held in Beijing from September 2nd to 6th.

This year's CIFTIS has attracted participators from over 80 countries and international organizations, with the presence of more than 500 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders. This event underscores the international cooperation platform that CIFTIS provides and highlights the great appeal of the Chinese market.

A larger number of enterprises participated in this year's CIFTIS, with over 2,400 offline exhibitors. The exhibition area covers 155,000 square meters, surpassing the previous edition.

Behind this expansion in scale lies the opportunities brought about by the rapid development of China's service industry.

In the first half of this year, the service sector accounted for 56% of China's GDP, 66% of the country's economic growth, and over 70% of all foreign investment in China. In 2022, China's total trade volume of services reached $889.1 billion, maintaining its position as the world's second-largest for the ninth consecutive year.
