5.147 billion parcels collected during super golden week

According to monitoring data from the State Post Bureau of China, during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays (September 29 to October 6), the postal industry nationwide collected a total of 2.575 billion express parcels and packages (excluding postal group parcel business).

The daily collection volume increased by 122.6% compared to the 2019 National Day holiday and by 8.6% compared to the 2022 holiday.

Additionally, the delivery volume during the same period reached 2.572 billion pieces (excluding postal group parcel business). The daily delivery volume increased by 133.9% compared to the 2019 National Day holiday and by 18.7% compared to the 2022 National Day holiday.

With the overlap of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day this year, there was strong demand for travel across the country. The festive atmosphere was rich, and various consumption patterns and scenarios innovatively expanded, injecting strong impetus into sustained consumption recovery.

The postal express delivery industry seized this development opportunity and explored new paths for industry integration as delivery service and tourism. By leveraging the advantages of postal services, it proactively integrated into the development of the tourism industry, providing various services such as tourist souvenirs, local specialties, and luggage delivery for tourists. Four million express delivery personnel nationwide were still working during the holiday, shuttling through streets and alleys so that we can enjoy the holiday with our parcels.
