LMC China Sepaktakraw Open held in Dehong
The 2023 LMC China Sepaktakraw Open
The 2023 China Sepaktakraw Open of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) took place in west Yunnan’s Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture from November 22 to 25, inviting in nine sepaktakraw teams from Laos, Myanmar, Viet Nam, China and Malaysia.
Jointly hosted by the lesser ball games management center under the General Administration of Sports of China, Yunnan Province Sports Bureau, Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office and Dehong Government, the LMC sepaktakraw open consists of singles and quartets for both men and women.

In the women's games, Vietnamese players won the single and quartet titles, while Lao and Chinese won the runner-up and the third place. In the men's games, Lao players took both titles in foursomes and singles, with the second and third places going to Malaysian and Chinese players.
So far, three editions of the sepaktakraw open have been held for more people-to-people exchanged between China and its neighboring countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
