Yunnan's economic output reaches 3 trillion yuan

The total economic output of Yunnan province has reached a historic high of 3 trillion yuan in 2023, according to the ongoing 2nd session of the 13th Yunnan Provincial Committee, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The CPPCC provincial session opened at Yunnan Conference Center in Kunming, capital city of Yunnan province, on January 23.

Yunnan province is implementing a "3815" strategic development plan, where “3” stands for a 3-year upgrade in economic performance.

Through a series of three-year action plans from 2023 to 2025, Yunnan aims to push ahead high-quality growth and update its leap-forward development to a new level.
