Showlife musical awards granted in Shanghai

The 2023 Showlife Musical Awards ceremony was held at the Shanghai Cultural Square on Feb. 25.

After evaluation by judges and public voting, the main list as well as four individual awards and five popular vote awards were finally determined.

Among the 139 received musicals Romeo and Juliet, the Chinese version of Fan Letter: the Musical, and original productions like The Orphan of Zhao were shortlisted.

As for popular voting, Ayunga, Zheng Q yuan and Ye Qisheng were chosen as influential male actor of the year, while Xu Yao, Cui En'er and Jiang Qianru were the influential female actors.
