Lao journalists visit Kunming, Honghe

A Lao media delegation visited the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences in central Yunnan’s Kunming city on the morning of April 26, exchanging views with provincial social scientists on rural revitalization, urban development, media integration and Laos-China social affairs.

In the afternoon, the Lao journalists called on Yunnan International Communication Center for South and Southeast Asia, with the topics focusing on Yunnan-Laos media cooperation and agricultural cooperation driven by media and think tanks.

The Lao journalists also visited south Yunnan’s Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, looking into local efforts in ecological protection, agro-tourism and cultural traditions.
